The climate is changing faster than we are and urgent action for mitigation and adaptation solutions are needed. However, a critical gap remains between the synthesis of scientific information on climate change vulnerability and adaptation and the integration of these ideas into garden management plans and practices. This international showcase highlights practical approaches that gardens are taking to translate broad, conceptual frameworks into tangible, actionable projects and community-engagement programs to ensure that on-the-ground work aligns with new environmental realities.

In this session, we will introduce and encourage participants to join the Climate Change Alliance of Botanic Garden (CCABG), a new collaborative network.
